The call sheets that went out yesterday had errors about meals.
Please be advised that we are only serving a meal on Tuesday. This
corrects the Non-Mic People sheet. NO MEALS will be served for any
actual performance. All students should make sure that they eat a good
meal before coming to play. I've attached the corrected version.
Thank you,
Carter Welo,

Dear Cast and Crew members:
Call Times for Sunday 5/5 through Sun 5/10 are linked (above).
There are three sheets; there is a separate sheet for each group. Make sure
you have the right one. Print out a copy for you and one for your parents. I
would suggest one for each of your parents cars and/or date books as well as
one for your family calendar or bulletin board. Make sure you carefully read
each date and time requirement. For instance, you must be in costume in the
cafeteria by 5:15 PM if you are a non-mic cast member on Wednesday at 5/6.
This means you must come earlier and allow enough time to find all of your
costume pieces and put them on. Remember that there will be a lot of cast
members all trying to do the same thing at the same time. Please budget your
time well and make sure that your designated driver understands the correct
time you need to leave your home or place you will be traveling from.
Planning your time is the students responsibility. Please consult with
your parent and me (Mrs. Lawler) if you need help or suggestions, but
ultimately, it is your responsibility to plan your time according to your
schedule. Be kind to your fellow castmates. Be on time as this is a team
effort.
Just a reminder that professional play pictures are available for purchase.
Please see the site listed below. We will also be taking some production
and dress rehearsal pictures as well as a cast picture. You can order as we
go along or all at the end to save multiple shipping charges. It is
important to remember that the site hosting these pictures cannot do this
forever; given the quantity of pictures taken, they consume a lot of space
on the site hosting them. SOOOOOOOOOOO this is just a kind reminder so you
do not procrastinate too long.
Great pictures! They need to log onto
http://rmastro.zenfolio.com/guysdolls and
use the password "gregory".
Hi All
We want to remind all of
the children of what they will need to bring with them before the first
dress rehearsal to keep in their shoe boxes.
Make-up Exclusion Note: If you are wearing a
microphone,
do not apply any make-up. Your mic needs
placed before you get make-up! The make-up crew will take good care of
you after your mic is placed.
All Girls except for G1's:
Nude nylons, even if you are wearing socks.
Socks in the color
you were requested to get. (We recommend that you have more than one
pair of these since you will be using them for all dress rehearsals as
well as all performances.) A camisole or undershirt should be worn at
all times under your costume. Just be sure that no part of it is
showing once your are dressed.
All Girls:
Come in heavy makeup. This includes foundation, blush, mascara, eye
shadow and liner and lipstick. (We recommend red lipstick). We will
notify you of when you need to do this for dress rehearsals.
Please shower and freshly wash and dry your hair. Please do not
straighten or curl your hair or use any hair product.
ABSOLUTELY
NO JEWELRY. This includes watches. We will ask you to remove it when we
check you before you go on stage and we do not want you to risk losing
it.
Please bring deodorant and your own hair brush or comb to keep in
your boxes as well. Our waiting areas get warm and sticky so you want
to be prepared.
Also, remember to bring a bag to keep your street
clothes in once you've changed into your costume. The dressing rooms are
not big enough to accommodate messiness.
All Boys:
If you have not already done so, please bring in your black crew socks.
(No short socks or no shows!) We recommend that you have more than one
pair of these since you will be using them for all dress rehearsals as
well as all performances.
Please bring a couple of white
undershirts, without markings or writing on it, to use and wear
throughout rehearsals and performances as well. If your costume has a
low neckline, use a v-neck undershirt otherwise we will have to cut your
shirt so that it does not show.
You must shower and wash your
hair before you arrive. We will do your hair and make up when you
arrive.
Please bring deodorant to leave in your shoe box.
Some sort of bag or backpack is needed to put all of your street clothes
in once you've changed into your costume.
ABSOLUTELY NO JEWELRY,
Including watches.
Thanks
Costuming
First, we want to
let you know that we will be providing breakfast for the school matinee next
Wednesday. The menu will include bagels, fruit and juice.
Second, please find our production volunteer form. We really need the
parents to volunteer for at least one night during our production week. You
can see the show for free on the night you work. Please review the attached
form and get it back to us on Tuesday. If you cannot read a word file, Mr.
Geyman will post it on the drama school web site. www.stgregoryonline.com
The students are working hard on polishing up the final product. We are all
excited to see next weeks performances. It is such a joy to watch their
excitement.
Thank you for your support.

To All:
We are two weeks from Opening Night. The
kids have done a great job preparing for this and I have no doubt that they
will be nothing short of spectacular. We still need a lot of help,
especially come showtime with a variety of things including production night
supervision, cleanup after the performances, tear down day after the last
performance, and concessions - which include Star Grams, ticket sales, food
concessions, etc.
Please
contact the appropriate leader to volunteer for one or more nights

We need your help in keeping the PFC and Gym clean over the next two
weeks. If you are scheduled to supervise a practice, please ask the
students to pick up their trash. We would also ask for your help at the
end of the evening to make sure that any trash left around the PFC and
gym gets placed in the trash cans. You may also be asked to do a quick
sweep of the stage.
I am also looking for some volunteers who will help at the end of each
performance to clean the risers and gym in picking up any trash. If you
are already coming to the performance, you could stay behind for just a
few minutes and help with the cleaning. If you are interested in
helping out, please email me at
pcja4639@sbcglobal.net or call me at 216-381-9317. Thanks for your
support.

Mrs. Redding is wondering if any of the St. Greg's
families might have one of the following instruments just sitting around
their house and would consider loaning them to the Drama club for use as
props in the play this year.
She is looking for used and slightly worn trumpets,
tubas, bass drums, cymbals and tamborines. Any other instruments you might
have but are not on this list may be useful too. She was just giving
examples, so contact Mrs. Redding if you can help her with wish list.
Thanks
