Our Mission:
To provide a safe, healthy Christian atmosphere for students and parishioners of St. Gregory the Great Parish, (grades K through 8), before and after school. To provide age appropriate games, crafts and activities in an effort to reduce boredom. To provide a designated quiet area and assistance for homework. To provide discipline and support in a loving and patient, non-condescending manner without judgment.
Hours of Operation:
We will
be open Monday through Friday 7am to 8 am and 2:30pm* to 6pm beginning the first
day of school, August 2006.
(*we will open at 1:30 PM on
all early dismissal days)
Fees:
AM
A
flat rate will be charged for mornings-breakfast is included
$4.50....one child
$6.75....two children
$9.00....three or more children
PM
$4.50/hour....one child
$6.75/hour....two children

You will
be billed by the quarter hour
***A $5.00 late fee per child
will be charged every 15
minutes after 6 P.M.***
Payment:
Your Extended
Care bill must be paid in full by Friday of the following week. A weekly late
fee will be added to any outstanding balances every Monday,
NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
PAYMENT BY CHECK IS PREFERRED . Please make checks payable to St.
Gregory the Great Extended Care
Registration:
A current
registration form must be on file before your child can attend Extended Care.
A new form must be filled out every year. Please return completed
forms to St. Gregory the Great Extended Care Program c/o Sherry O’Brien.
Fees for
non registered students: $6/hr 1 child; $9/hr 2 children; $12/hr 3+ children
Sign-in/Sign-out:
You are not
required to sign in your children in the mornings. It is a good idea to make
sure the building is open when dropping off. Children must check themselves in
every morning and afternoon. You MUST come in and sign your child out in the
afternoons. No child will be released to anyone under the age of
18 years or not on the authorized pick up list. Photo ID will
be required for those whom we are not familiar with.
PM Schedule:
2:30 to
3:00*.......................................................sign-in/free play
3:00 to
3:30........................................................snack provided**
3:30 to
5:00........................................................quiet time (study
room)
3:30 to
5:00....................................organized craft or activity(playroom)/outside
5:00 to 6:00........................................................free
play (all rooms)
*on
early dismissal days
we will have free
play from 1:30 to 3 PM
Snack will
still be served at 3 pm.
** For children who are participating in an extra-curricular activity and arrive
after 3 pm snack, they will receive snack at 4 pm.
General Information:
Play clothes are highly recommended. Please label all clothing to reduce lost items.
Children will not be allowed to play outside without weather appropriate clothing and accessories.
Children should not bring toys,cell phones, games, money, electronics, trading
cards, etc.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR
LOST,BROKEN OR STOLEN ITEMS.
If your child is absent from school or will not be attending extended care on a regularly scheduled day, please call and leave a message on our voicemail. Please let us know if your child will be staying after school for any reason. This will save us time from running around trying to locate your child. You will be charged one hour per child every time we have to search the school or call around to locate your child.
If your child becomes ill while in our care, you will be notified to make arrangements for the child to be picked up as soon as possible. A temperature of 100 or more will require that the child be sent home.
Please make play-date arrangements ahead of time. A written note from each child’s parent is required before we will let a child go home with another parent.
*IF THE SCHOOL IS CLOSED FOR EXCESSIVE ILLNESSES,POWER OUTAGES, WATERMAIN BREAKS, LOCAL OR NATIONAL EMERGENCIES, OR SNOW DAYS, WE WILL NOT BE OPEN! *
EXTENDED CARE WILL
FOLLOW THE SAME SCHEDULE AS THE SCHOOL.
WE WILL BE CLOSED ON ALL DAYS OFF.
